VIJAY
DIRECTOR

An unwavering and unyielding passion towards film making has always smoldered within me and it further intensified when I was fortunate enough to be offered a job in a place where I could broaden my theoretical knowledge and apply it to practical film making.

I worked for about five years as an assistant director to Rajiv Menon and Latha Menon, who were also my mentors in my career. My work experience at Rajiv Menon production and Iris films has been an amazing one in that it was where that I was hurtled headlong into the world of ad film making, and it was where I learned the ropes and nuances of film making.

The way I see and experience films now is certainly not how it used to be as a movie enthusiast. I now look for the crucial takeaways at the end of each film. And what it eventually teaches one is that “LEARNING NEVER ENDS”.

Making films would be my  purpose here and I work diligently to see that

I do my best in it.

I am driven by stories told within the frame.

" In a field where you meet, interact and work with sundry groups of people 24/7, you’ve got to be gregarious, candid, unreserved, or simply put, a ‘people person’. It also becomes the basis of every relationship you build in the workplace – treat everyone with respect; give them the attention they deserve; ensure you are listening, not merely hearing. When you thus begin valuing and appreciating people that you work with, you realize that the product that you churn out garners value along the way as well "
